I'm looking for a program that will allow me to put track breaks into an MP3 file.

Example: My friend has some cool new turntables and he made a mix, but he recorded it as one long MP3 file, I want to put track breaks into it so I can skip around the cd while I'm in the car, but I dont want to put any gaps in the music.

Any ideas?

    Can't be done perfectly if you're burning it to a CD. There will still be a slight, almost unnoticeable gap. If that's what you're looking for check out SoundForge. You'll have to decode to a wav file first (but you'd do that anyway when you made the CD) and go from there, but it's fairly easy to do.

    Now, if you want gapless music you'd need to turn to a different format/program, both of which I have no info on.
