Hate to start a new topic but here it is
After following Greedos advice, I've come up with a new "overall" lighting/brush style for Odlers general areas.
I'm pretty happy with how it looks... and I think it looks fairly original too, which is a plus...
anyway..heres 3 shots...

Good work!

I think it proves one point....in game it looks very very different..it's so bright in-game but here it looks ...BLEH...
Scythe - read what I just wrote to chrome...I don't think screenies ever do me justice....it's a crime I tell you! a crime!
Keep that style.
(everybody, please don't start a long discussion about other maps colors)
I love what you've done with the blue lights here.
Note to those who download : the room at the end with the ramp down has the command station in it so you can see the overhead version.
Plus - the left-hand corner from where you spawn has junk lying all over the place...walk up to the black hole (stay a couple of feet away) and begin to weld... nice little weldable door/wall thing I made...I think it's nice...
anyways... go to My Webpage to download the bsp (and as usual ignore the advertising from Spaceports )..
I've attached a pic here of the weld thing...
btw 1337 lighting... i can say 1337 right?
Well whaddayaknow that ceiling thing tex in the middle is really grey! I KNEW THAT!
Make the ceiling lighted in another color then...
Yeah I like the deeper blue.
Here's as good a time as any to ask a question that's been bothering me--How does the HL engine combine different colors of light? As you may know, colored light combines differently than regular pigments. I was wondering, do in-game lights mix realisticly (like red + green = yellow), or is it the standard yellow + blue = green bit?
{BTW, the above site is how the whole RGB thing works, if you didn't already know).
