<div class="IPBDescription">video resolution error</div> umm i accedently changed my video resolution too high in wide screen. When I start up ns beta, or any steam game, imy monitor says out of range(it says that becuse res is too high.) i was wondering if there was any way to change the res without going into the game itself. btw i have already tried uninstalling it.

    Try to change these values in the registry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings

    and

    HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings

    Change the keys ScreenWidth and ScreenHeight

    I don't know if it will work in steam, but try it.

    PS: change it to valid values.

    Open <b>Games </b>window of Steam. Right click on <b>Natural Selection (beta)</b> and select <b>Create Desktop Shortcut</b>... Now a shortcut with steam icon and named Natural Selection (beta) should be at your desktop... Right click and go to properties of that shortcut... add <b>-w 800</b> to the target box so that it should look something like <b>"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 70 -game nsp -w 800</b>... apply and close... double click shortcut to start NS3 in 800x600 resolution...
