    I know theres lots of good 56kers but i would rather have people with good pings and also a broadband connection to minimize disconnections.

    Whats this clans name?

    I think Fatuus Gentis would be a cool name. Its ancient Roman for 'Alien Killers', which would be cool as lots of the NS maps are named after mythology, but its also got aliens in it.

    I think if you have 56k these days you are either unfortunate (no cable or ADSL lines in your area) or just plain dumb. I have cable since 1997.

    If you mean that my cable is worse than ADSL (VDSL isn't anywhere yet mind you), then I think your are wrong. All the people I know who have ADSL have much slower connection speeds than I have. And for the same price.

    No, I mean, that in some countries ADSL is expensive, so not everyone has the money to pay it (explaining why some people is still on 56k and not being dumb)

    There are still a LOT of places where there is no Cable or DSL access so they have to use 56k modems.
