<div class="IPBDescription">you know that one from 1.04?</div> Does anyone remeber that one map from back in 1.04, with the furnace, feedwater, and engine hive. The engine hive was behind a door next to a little rotating table that went to marine start, furnace was way the hell up in the air, and feedwater was right above a huge tunnel of water that led back to furnace.
It was my favorite map and i havent played it since 1.04 <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> and i wanna know if they decided to not update it or what?
Anyone know what it was called or what happened?

My gosh yeah. There were SOOOOOOOO many cool vents to relocate to. Take 4 rines, form rine tower, bingo. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
usually I had to wait for Jets; not having a good enough team. But once you pull it off... wooooooo. All round double res and Engine hive. Vents galore. I personally think relocating to Feed is wayyyyyyyyy better than double res; you get much better control of the map. 2 rts in Feed, and the 2 in double are really close. If you can keep rine start, that's all the rts you need.
But I digress...
Yes, bast source was lost.
Yes, it is being remade.
Yes, it is better than nancy. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The only reason it was taken out of the releases was because it no longer conformed to the new mapping guidelines(Max entities, etc), and without the source could not be easily changed to fit the new guidelines.
Hopefully the remake will be done in time for the final 3.0 release.
On the other hand Nancy HAD to be remade to work properly at all as of 2.0. Onos would constantly be evolving/redeeming in the floor, etc.
Waste Handling hive on ns_tanith also had this problem(if rines reloc to the waste rt node, no onos can make it up the ladder and live to tell about it). This has changed on ns3 though, theres now a new ramp!
To get to engine you have to go crouch under a load of piping...
To get to refinery you have to either crouch along the long ramp, or go the long way from engine and crouch ALL the way along that tunnel...
if they made it so the onos didnt have to crouch as much meaning 1hmg could take it out no problem, then it think it would be a better map...
All the need to do when remaking it put that rine start vent, the one you could weld back to the way it was in 1.04 cos in 2.0 it was soo pointless welding it because it had a friggen window in it <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' /><!--endemo--> . I normaly had to resort to blocking it with CCs.
Hmm, what are you talking about? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
And it's not too dark either (like nancy. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
If any map needed to be taken out, it should of been lost. <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /><!--endemo--> lost

I'm not sure where you got the name Shrike from, but it's a character in a series of books called Hyperion. Very nasty character at that.
