Ns Is Freezing :(

<div class="IPBDescription">The moment the game starts, it freezes</div> Can someone help me? Steam also freezes with me when i try to activate the console or open a menu tab(like the video one) but TFC and CS 1.6 dont freeze as long as I dont press the console, but NS freezes right when the game starts, the sound start jumping and only a reset can fix that.

I wanted to change some video options but steam freezes if i press the video tab on the options menu, still TFC and CS are ok, the res looks to be on 800x600 maybe 640x480 might work but i dont know how i can change that, i edited the config.cfg and i couldnt find anything that could define the video resolution.

    Go into the listenserver.cfg and change
    // disable clients' ability to pause the server
    pausable 1
    to
    // disable clients' ability to pause the server
    pausable 0
    to fix it

    I tried this, still freezes, can it be a conflict of my 3d card? its a 32 mb viperII.

    it still freezes on NS but on CS and TFC the game runs ok.

    The usual:

    Try reinstalling ns first, don't change anything in the config.
    see what happens, if the problem still occurs:

    Reinstall your videodrivers.

    I did it, there some progress, now i am able to see the welcome msg of the server, still right after, the game freezes <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
