Friend Having A Problem Installing Ns

<div class="IPBDescription">Help ;/</div> My friend downloaded Natural Selection, and he double clicked on the icon and it said that the packet couldn't initalize or something like that. He says he downloaded it from another mirror and it said the same thing. He has steam and everything installed, so I dont know what the problem is. He is running WinXP. I think he may have downloaded the Beta 3 patch instead of Beta 1 first, could that have caused it?

    I sometimes get mesages like that when I download big files. Its caused by a corrupt file, so have him try redownloading or try a different download mirror
