- Lastly, don't ever flame. EVER. I don't care if someone is racist, homophobic and a SpyderMonkey-lover all at once. Just ignore them, report the post to a moderator and let the moderators take care of the issue.

That is always gonna happen. You should have expected this when you started. It was better a few months ago, but then all these new people came...if you look at the reply's you are talking about, it 90% of the time the person has registered in the last few months, and its only gonna get worse with the release, so try as you will, you can't stop NS from turning into every other mod out there, its gonna attract some ########.

Sure, the majority of the community can be bad, but all it takes is a few good moderators, and these forums CAN be civil....

You make it sound as though every person registered recently brings nothing but problems and noobism. I don't know whether or not I would fall under your category of "recent registrations," but I have seen many people who registered in late September or even October who post useful, insiteful comments. Yes, I agree with you, it will be nearly impossible stopping these forums from degenerating to the quality of other successful mod forums out there, but I find just a little unfair to call every new poster annoying.
About what Flayra said, well, if he wants less negative / inflamatory comments, I don't think I do much of that anyway, but I'll be extra careful. But while I'll turn another cheek at noobish, downright stupid remarks, and although I'll try to never "flame" persay, there are some things that I'll find difficult to let slide.
