    You do realize that almost all Half-Life mods have support for voice communication right? All you have to bind a button to voice comm, e.g. bind x "+voice_record". However, if you don't want to use that for some irrational inexplicable reason, try <a href='http://rogerwilco.gamespy.com/' target='_blank'>Roger Wilco</a>

    lol guys
    I'm not a n00b and I know that HL have a voice comm support, but I'm searching 4 another engine. I heard of another one in a demo I watched, but I can't remember (and I deleted the demo).
    I'd like another one with a best quality.

    www.teamspeak.org - If that's what you were looking for.
    You can also try "Ventrilo", but I prefer TS

    EDIT: Yeah, so you did a better styling, and? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Ventrilo is absolutely top notch, but stay away if you're on a 56k. I can use most other voice comm software, but Ventrilo really eats up my bandwidth on my dial-up.

    Exactly how is this software practical? Wouldn't all players including the server need to run? And how many of those servers are out there?

    For this to be practical, you basically have to be in a clan. Mildly annoying, but true. This is because to run these programs (or at least Ventrilo, which is what I have, but I assume the others are the same) you need to know the IP of the server that runs your chat thing-a-ma-dooble. Hope that helps.

    My Wolf ET clan use Ventrillo all the time, and it works great. There are plenty of servers up. It's more of a clan thing.

    In order for you to be able to communicate with the people on the server using a different medium of communication, every person would have to be in the same voice-chat server as you are #1 (Ventrilo, TS, RW, w/e program you're using)

    Just use the in-game chat client, it's much easier and hassle free. If you're a league player, I would recommend using Ventrilo, when I used to play CAL-IM CS, thats what I used. TS is ok, and the last time I used RW it gave me a lot of problems.

    You may want to put that in your sig and announce it in the Organised Play forum.

    Wait... you said *C*S.

    Hmm. How many French CS players are there likely to be browsing the New Player section of an English NS site? :S

    Still, I wish you well with the game. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Well, I know a bit, and have 3 years of German study under my belt. Humph. Even a few Danish and Russian phrases too. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
