I can't seem to get it to work. I've followed the tutorial and I can't seem to find adminpass.cfg, I've even tried to change the server name and it doesn't seem to work. I've gotten map changes and things to work but it's everything else like admin commands and such. I've set up the users.ini but I don't think the adminmod is working on my server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm not sure what OS you are trying to run AdminMod on but I have a guide meant for linux servers. The configuration part is pretty much the same thoughm try glancing through this:

    sorry we're trying to run a win 32... thanks though I've so far followed the instructions up til the part about adminpass.cfg it just bugs the hell out of me.

    Adminpass.cfg is not necessary. In the users.ini put STEAMID_0:0:x123456::131071 for full access level of your STEAM ID.

    Yeah I've already set up my users.ini but I don't know why admin mod isn't working. It shouldn't have anything to do with us renting the server from a site does it? The instructions said to type meta list to see if admin mod works and it just says unknown command. I have metamod 1.17a and the newest version of admin mod.     EDIT- is the x neccessary in the steam id part? because the way I set it up was with the user creation script.

    Check your liblist.gam file and make sure it's enabled metamod (and then check the metamod and make sure it's the latest version available from www.modns.org). I have no clue what you're talking about adminpass.cfg - don't have one and i run two half-life servers (one FLF and one NS). Visit #pgclan and talk to me if you have any questions about it.

    The last thing I did in regards to admin mod was checking my liblist.gam file making sure to add the line about enabling metamod. our server is from a site called boxmadness.com and we rent it out for a fee every month. The adminpass.cfg thing was cleared up by Kwikloader, I'm probably going to need to reinstall the whole thing. I made sure I d/led the newest version of metamod before I started to mess with it. By #pgclan you mean an irc chat right?
