<div class="IPBDescription">Needs a design.</div> After some searching i've concluded this is the right forum.
#nsmapping is an IRC room on gamesurge, which offers support to NSmappers. We've been around for quite a while now and we have a number of experienced mappers including some with official maps amongest our mists. It was up to a while ago just an IRC channel however recently we registered ourselves nsmapping.net and got ourselves some hosting.
At first the plan was that i would do the design however i don't have the time with other projects and school and stuff to be able work on it any time soon and we'd like to launch the site sometime in the near future, which won't happen if i do the design.
Instead we're putting out an open call to all you budding artists/web designers to come and help us out by designing us a web site. You don't need to be able to do any coding for the site or anything like that, we simply need a design, which will probably just be one image, which we then then turn into a function website. Easy enough aye. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> This is an open call though and were hoping for a number of designs to be submitted so we can pick our favourite so there is no guarentee that we will use it.
A few requirements for the site:
-Should fit into a the window at 800x600.
-No flash.
-Preferably no fancy pants javascript stuff either. (We want to keep this site simple yet attractive, i'd rather it was easy to navigate and not the most attractive thing ever rather than a uber complex thing with gadgets everywhere but with a half hour search to find a tutorial)
-Links we need(no particular order): News, About, Staff, Tutorials, Resources, Downloads, Reviews, Forums.
Apart from that how it looks is entirely down to you though i will say trying to incorperate some in editor/mapping type things into the design would be nice but it is by no means a requirement.
We'd like to get the site up quite soon if possible but we have no set date and we won't try and rush anyone but just so you know we'd rather not have to wait 2 months for a design. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

(note: is your coder for the site using dreamweaver? because the image links will be really easy in dreamweaver using the hotspots. if not, there might be some complications)
