OK Now I see this a lot.

YES I AM A PERFECTIONIST.

It's a magazine not a clip. No weapon uses a clip in ns.

The LMG clearly uses a box magazine the pistol obviously uses a magazine. The shotgun isn't called clip capacity it's just ammo capacity. The others speak for themselves.

We all have pet peeves on the forums like smiley's, leet speak, bad grammar etc. This is mine so please call it a magazine. Because everytime you say clip god molests a kitteh.

Think of the kittehs.

    I presume a clip means when you reload you lose the remaining bullets instead of it just filling up the ones that are full.

    Clip: Is refilled. Cartridge is not discarded.
    Magazine: Is not refilled. Whole cartridge is replaced. (Used in NS)

    a Clip is just what the word says a clip, most common refrence is the 8 round CLIP that was used in the M1 Garand in the world wars...a clip is inserted into the gun and is just used to hold bullets. It has no spring or anything like that...

    a magazine is a detachable "standalone" feeding mechanism which has springs and everything else to push bullets up for the bolt to push into the chamber...i knwo my explanations kinda suck but its almost enough to realize what a clip is

    Technically, it's a magazine (I assume). However, if people run around using words such as "noob" and various words spelled with letters, I'll bloody well expect them to let me call it a clip. It's easier to type and the difference in function and purpose between a clip and a magazine is so ridiculously small anyway.
