I Made A Ready Room. There Is A Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">But when i compile and run. i can't move</div> I made a readyroom it is very simple. i did it just to see if i could. but when i compile it i spawn but i am unable to move. i can look around but can't move in any direction. the spawn point is in the air. the room is big enough. i am very new mapping.

    I had this problem a little while ago, to fix it just make sure the spawn is no where near the walls, cause I was stuck in the air/wall and I could see just not move.

    have you tried starting the readyroom up using halflife, not NS... NS requires some specific entities and the NS_ or CO_ naming convention.

    I sometimes test incomplete maps with halflife, and not ns depending on what i'm testing and at what stage i'm at.

    NS doesn't require anything to run a map successfully, except for a single info_player_start to spawn at.

    You may want to post the bsp file so we could take a look at it to find the exact problem.

    i started again from scratch. my new ready room works fine. i just made it taller. i amd just learning mapping and will be asking quite a few questions. thank you.

    Okay. For future reference the basic character size (a marine) is 36 units wide, 36 units long, and 72 units tall. If an area is any small than that they won't be able to fit.

    Since players can return to the ready room as an Onos, you want to have a lot of room available -- the official specs say that spawns should be 128 units apart; they should also have 128 units between floor and ceiling.
