Map idea

<div class="IPBDescription">Just check it out</div>I can't map but im still having lots of ideas, so I just have to put them here and hope that someone has atleast some use of them. Anyway here is one map idea which I've been working on in my mind for some time.
A station on some planet. Aliens are in the station, TSA comes down with dropship. Marines have 2 ways to win. The normal "kill them all" and then the other way. Marines have to first switch on power(lights go on, before that only emergency lights), then marines have to a control room with view to the planets surface. When 2 marines push buttons simultaneously a big satellite disc turns pointing at the sky, they are now putting in their mainships coordinates. After this they have to go to maincontrol room(big one with lots of computers and one big screen) and transmit some special information to the mainship. This takes like 45secs and you have to push a button all the time. After this marines have to get to airlock and get atleast one marine in to their dropship. You need two guys in different sides of map to open the airlock. Now when a marine is in the ship aliens still have a chance. If a skulk can brake fuel pipes base side which leads to the dropship(meant for fuel refilling), it can crawl to the ship before it takes off(8th passenger anyone?) and brake an engine part(clearly marked)causing explosion. Then marines would have to kill all the aliens and hives to win. And aliens can win marines by the usual means. So this would take lots of teamwork from marines to achive this objective and lots of teamwork from aliens to stop this. Ofcourse they could do it the old way and just kill eachother but other possibility is also availlable.
This would bring some difference to the maps. I know its hard to make but I think its possible for you to do it. Challenge for 1337 mappers <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

Anyway, this would be for version 2 - need to implement new victory types.

yer, its a fine idea.
and heres a thought - even if you cant make doing all that wierd crap a secondary objective in the sense that that you win if you succeed, you could always make objectives like that, ie, turning on the lights, that would give the marines some sort of advantage... i mean hey just turning on the lights is bound to help, and then you could do other things like opening up doors to bunkers or towers or whatever.. use your imagination.
i might just do something like that...
