Well, my new monitor just came in. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> <a href='http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=621795&Sku=D100-1744&CatId=166' target='_blank'>This is it</a>.
Not a bad deal, if I do say so myself. The picture is nice and crisp, the monitor is big, and the colour controls are varied enough that I don't have to use PowerStrip to correct my brightness and contrast anymore! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Dude, get a Dell.

huh, sony screens are top-notch.
They aren't necessarily the best and most certainly aren't the most bang for the buck, but they're amazing nevertheless.
I also happen to have a sony screen that I just couldn't let go with such a good occasion (both pricing and quality) and I must admit, there's not a single screen I have that was as good as it. Sure, I wouldn't have gotten it new for its retail price, but there's no reason as why to call Sony screens bad.

CF IS THE MOST NUB EVER!
You my friend havn't a clue, whatsoever.
i have a 19 inch samsung
It's not even a Dell monitor, they just buy the monitors off some other nubs and rebrand them. ;P

Nice monitor though CF.
I like it, even though its a dell.

It might be Dell's brand, but it's not made by them. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo--> So I have a Dell branded monitor, not a Dell made monitor. Not like it matters anyway, because the monitor still owns you. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Actually there is a good chance that the monitor is a sony, i've seen quite a few dells that were co-branded sony's. Easiest way to tell is open up a white page of some kind and look for a two horizontal lines, one about a third of the way from the top and one about a third from the bottom. Thats also the reason i cant stand sonys the lines stand out to me, some people dont see them though
