<div class="IPBDescription">no games</div> so i just fixed my steam and all my games are unplayable what do i do? i tried the email i got outa steam reloged back in and STILL NO EMAIL what do i do to get my NS back???Help
like the games show up but they are all grey like when u just got steam and you saw DOD it was all gray in the name and had no color and then u downloaded it well thats waht happens after update then u have 2 get the email verivaction code and i have gotten no email and other questions ? cause i really need help man

ummm sorry to ask another question but seeing as this threads about steam already... i just finished updating steam (which on 56k is like....slow) and it started updating steam platform files when its froze and died on me and now will not work <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo--> does anyone know if theres anyway to avoid having to reinstall it all because i really can't be bothered to do it all again.

Secondly, where I answer your question: First off, never post anything in the steam forums. It doesn't help.
By "Fixing Steam", do you mean you just finished updating it, or reinstalled it? I'm guessing just finished updating, so I'll go along with that.
See, I'm guessing that it just cleaned your cache file, so now, yes, you probably will have to re-download all the games, unless you got a installer that installs specific pieces(like HL, CS, DoD, TFC...or all, and in which case, I'd uninstall steam totally and reinstall, then just let it update). Otherwise, just re-d/l them.
If I have anything confused, please say so.
And for everyone else:
