Alien Based Maps Instead Of Marine Based ?

No marine structures/textures/models
Hi, I haven't followed the NS maping community much but one thing I noticed is that every maps are marine world based. No maps are alien world based.
I think it would be fun for a change to have the marines invade the alien's world. Wouldn't it ?
I know this means that a whole set of new textures would have be created as the NS ones are marine based. But how about gathering alien textures from here and there and build a new set for alien based maps ?
Also, the ressource nozzle models would have to be modified to to fit in the alien theme.

Right now, the only problem is, I could see the marines have A LOT of trouble staying alive because they might become easy targets to hiding "super skulks" and later on, the *shudders* fades.
If you PM me with places to DL good infested textures from It'll be easier for me
- on a floating asteroid or planet, a passage opened by a mining operation and revealed a system of ancient caves where an alien civilisation existed. All alien lives were somehow frozen but because of the mining operations, it changed the ecosystem and therefore, freed all frozen population
- a marine scouting ship had an emergency landing on an unknown planet which happened to be populated by aliens
- the earth government decided to get rid of the aliens offenders once and for all by sending a extermination team to theire home world
- an asteroid crashed on earth revealing alien population that are taking over the surroundings in a non populated area. The marine corporation is investigating.
...
Map is divided in two main sections:
1) Ancient pre-mankind spaceship, infected by kharaa a long long time ago. (Perhaps the kharaa destroyed that ancient technologically advanced race?)
2) The TSA strike/docking/investigation craft docked with the ancient relic, to investigate what it really is.
The part where the marines spawn would be inside the docking craft, of course. At some parts of the map, the docking craft is connected to the ancient ship: Welded through, broken open, used ancient doors, etc.
On the alien part, the architecture ought to be very ... alien. Protoss-style with kharaa infection? Some predator-style? Something that seems alien to both kharaa and humankind.
A map based in alien territory would look cool, and would probably be fine as a co_ map, but in Classic, it would be really, really awful, because the floor would basically be one huge plague lump all the way through. The issues marines have with building things in hives such as Biodome on ns_origin would take place throughout the entire map, perhaps even the marine base. I think the storyline of NS assumes that if things ever got as bad as you guys are describing them, the TSA would likely write the ship/installation off as a lost cause and nuke them from orbit. (It's the only way to be sure!)
ho ho hold on just a second. this installation has a substancial dollar value attached to it..... err... yeah. i agree with 007's thoughts on the idea. but that doesn't mean i wouldn't still like to see someone make a map such as this. ^_^ it'd certainly have to be a combat map though.
The only thing we really need are a different Resource Node model. Thankfully, the Resource entity lets you choose the model, so much less head-aches ahead!

I got an infested Resource Nozzel model that i downloaded from some site, i will see if i can find it.
This is an idea that might be best left to a Combat map. No res, no structures, it's just ... a map. And to avoid 100% organic/infested stuff, make it an infested facility that still has signs of broken computers, corridors, vents, etc.
Personally, I dislike the idea of an alien world. I prefer something a little more plot-twisty.

What about my suggestions for such a map ?
Most of you suggested somekind of marine infested facility. My post is about non-marine maps.
