<div class="IPBDescription">And i cant get it out.</div> yea so this kinda reminded me of the possessed coke can on eBay but lil different.

Evil Emtpy Labatt Blue (canadian beer) bottle is falling off table, I reach over to grab it. I grab it just as it hits the floor. It shatters in my hand. meh. No i wasnt drinking it, it was someone elses.

Tiny glass shards in my hand on palm right below my thumb.

I pick them out. But I guess i forgot one. oops
Now see this would not under normal circumstances be a bad thing except for the small problem that this happened 3 days ago and my cut is all healed now and looks like nothing ever happened. Apparenty some small piece of glass was in side my hand but for whateve reasons I never felt or saw it. Now its like... risen to the surface. When I scraped my hand over stuff since then it would brush pass the cut skin and sting a little. Nothing out of the ordinary. i washed hands blablalba never saw or felt the glass before.

But now its there. And I cant get it b/c my skin is all healed over. It looks pretty nifty acutaly.

So in effect, Ive been parasited. Now everywhere I go I feel as if the beer bottles know where i am... <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Guess Ill have to scrape it out tonight.
*sigh

    Cauterize a needle or scissors and then just get it out. Not a good thing to have in your hand.

    Once I piched myself on accident and the blood was visible under my skin, but the skin never broke. After it dried and a few weeks passed, all the skin over it rubbed off and I could pick it out. It was pretty cool.

    I remember getting a splinter that was like 1/2 inch long stuck in my pointer finger once. That hurt, <i>alot</i>. Eventually after much scratching/squeezing the thing popped out, but, like, <i><b>ow</b></i>

    Eeep glass splinter....not good if it shatters once again (fat chance but still)

    I suggest going to a doctor to get it removed. Self-treatment may end with severed capillaries if you're not careful.

    If you feel you want to do self-treatment....get a needle, sterilize it, poke the skin near it and rip off some of the skin, and remove the splinter. Of course, the end result won't be pretty.

    I have had splinters...under my eyelid......

    That will teach me for working the router and not using safety glasses...

    *edit* Oh, and that is what you get for drinking Canadian Beer <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Or get to the emergency room pronto. That shard could be a much bigger problem than it looks.

    I get glass splinters all the time from emptying the glass bottle return machines at work.

    Damn cheapass boss. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    <b>Edit:</b> Oh, I forgot to explain why he's cheap.

    He doesn't supply gloves for us to use, which I think is pretty much illegal. Meh.

    Well, if you don't like him, reprt him to OSHA, but it might cost you your job if they decide to shut him down.

    Well I don't like him, and I'm only 16, so this job doesn't mean too much to me...

    Maybe I will. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Its confidential too, so he won't know who made the report, and you can sit back and laugh to yourself while he gets fined/shut down

    Duffman i used to have your job...

    So i know how much it sucks

    we had 3 can machines and 2 plastic that u just changed the bags in the bins.

    We had 2 glass machines that people would slide the bottles down a chute and they would be put up on a conveyer belt were they rolled down to where we sorted them by color or separated by brand (some beer companies would come collect the emtpies.)

    You drop your cans/bottles in the machine, push button and get your $$ ticket.

    ooh the memories.

    idiot customsers dropping maggot filled ber bottles down the chutes, broken glass every where.
