Ok half the team goes gorg...spends most of the game healing the hive. With this many gorges jetpacks are worthless. When hive is 100% all the gorges run to marines base and web the place then bile the cc. With five gorges its over before the marines can get through the webs and effectively attack.

In short : Death sentence.
If half the team has gone Gorge, you're going to be seriously lacking any sort of punch. Web is all well and good, but unless the teams are heavily stacked skill-wise, the marines will be able to beat down the gorges and push to the hive. At which point, you have four people healing the hive constantly while the marines continue to push.
Real men play classic
Anywayz one or 2 gorges are all a team need. Hell, a elite gorge can still do heavy dmg.
I am already this far they if I play combat and rines have some regulars, they shoot me first cause they know the risk of not doing so.
Whihc is onos gets healsprayed, I web a few webs, and I get BBing if someone attacks the CC while we are in start.

As for teams skill, although the sides started with pros on both teams and evenly matched, i suspect that the pro rines got bored and left. Btw i have a grudge against torment.tark <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> (apologys if i messed up your nick)
Tbh this is just another way of saying co sucks so hats off to buggy.
Edit: After playing a few games of (classic 5 or so) and not seeing aliens win once...yes ONCE!
It dawned on me how horrible the aliens have become. This is not due to anything else but total lack of teamwork. The marines have RANGED weapons! One or two skulks are going to do NOTHING!
In short this is plea for teamwork on the aliens side as it really takes it away from the game when you cannot get the aliens to work toghether for love nor money.
I think some of this is attitude, you have to realise that <b>this is not 1.0.</b>
Even lone ambushes are destined to fail, marines now know all the camping spots and can aim well enough and aren't fazed by bouncing off walls, the marines have also adjusted to the skulks speed. The only realistic option the aliens have left is to overwhelm defenders in a mass attack.
This is fine...but a skulk rush is horribly hard to organize.
Asking the team dosen't work as each skulk wants help in a different area of the map and the respawners generaly head straight back to their troublespot without a pause to take in the situation.
In my opinion some sort of intervention is needed to change the aliens play style.
I have seen ideas about giving the aliens a queen with a similar function to the comander. This has its disadvantages but the fact remains that the aliens need leadership and more importantly it must be <b>identifiable</b>. In keeping with the current style of the alien team i would suggest a skulk rush beacon for hivesite. This could be activated by any member of the team and for obvious reasons would probably have to be limeted to a single location at any one time. The most important feature of this is that it should drown out anything else in hivesite, the alien team should be at this location, period. Possible incitements to cooperation may be necesary in tandem with this, possibly an extra resource boost for kills made in the area of the beacon.
If this is not enough to make the aliens work toghether then the only solution may be a comander.
This to a certain extent is a result of the fundamental differences between the teams, eg the marines essentially are just an extension of a single purpose, it may also have something to do with the large server i usually play on...ie 9 per team. On this size of server it is impossible to do any damage without serious backup.
In summary the aliens need a unifying force to stand a chance of defeating the tsa, hivesite is not enough.
nade spamming, lv3 weapons own gorges. web ? not much effect. there is a cap on webbing in co if i remembered.
bile bombing ? i doubt gorges will die before they reach teh CC.

now classic is another story. I started more gorge gangs (it was not a rush) then I can count. I love them. owning marines who play with 3 man more rules when we are all gorge.
it was fun to try though.
what happend was by the time we had a few gorges they had a few sg's and soon after a few hmgs. 3 pushes later they break out and pin us in our hive game ending soon after.
