    Alligator, a sharks teeth aren't able to puncture an alligators armoured skin also the alligator would litterally tear the shark to pices with the dagger like teeth and trademark rolling action.

    I vote for shark.
    Sure the alligator has arms and stuff, but so does humans and still the shark can reap em to pieces! And BARREL ROLLS arent any chance against sharks NON-CLAW, FLYING SHARP TEETH ROCKET ATTACK.

    Alligator hands down because alligator teeth are specially formed to grasp glesh tightly and cause deep wounds.

    Shark teeth on the other hand, are only for causing major wounds.

    Consider how thick the skin of an alligator is, and how large one tooth is....now think of how thick shark scales are, and how big their teeth are.

    Unfortunately they didn't specify what kind of species....

    One more thing....sharks don't eat alligators because they're not fish, nor do they bleed much.

    sharks have relatively tough skin too... it's got the consistansy of sandpaper so if you rubbed against it your skin would come off ^^;
    Also the great white is capable of such enormous amounts of pressure with it's jaws it can kill you even if it's teeth don't. Tests with a special 'chain' diving suit developed to protect from sharks showed that while the teeth were successfully stopped the dummy inside the suit had been crushed to pieces =s

    Sharks also shake their prey achieving much the same effect as the crocodile's spins (except the shaking is so violent it often causes piece of the prey to be torn off by the movements).

    All depends on the species at the end of the day... no croc could survive a great white, while I think even a baby croc could take down a ray (rays are part of the shark family along with a few others you might not expect =P )
