Xeno may be fun, but it really is not time effective. You will get much more killing done biting and leaping. Marines with any armor won't be all that affected. It's better to kill one than weaken a whole bunch.

I have to disagree completely there. When weakened marines attack, theyll be easier prey for whoever is in their way. When they die, theyll drop their gear, and will have wasted valuable time walking somewhere only to die faster.
Or the comm will have to pass out welders/health packs. Either way, weakened marines cost time or money.
Start thinking of the team and not yourself.

Is having one less marine around to shoot them so horrible for your mates?
The strength of marines comes from them being in a group. The larger the group, the more effective it will be (exponentially). A skulk has a much better chance of further weakening a marine squad if he doesn't die before he gets to bite anything in a hail of bullets. Marines with 1 hp still deal full damage, unlike half-dead skulks, which easily die dealing no damage, falling dead at the feet of the marines.
Another good thing to do, is have a grog build DCs in high traffic areas of the maps. A few common places for DCs are Power Sub Junction, on ns_eclipse, alos, generator room catwalk on ns_nothing. Now, you can upgrade carapace, and hang out near the DCs, and DOMINATE light armor marines. This goes for any lifeform really, however carapace onos or fades will require more than 3 dcs to be effective, unlike skulks.
Basically, play the game alot, learn predictable marine behavior (as well as unpredictable) and learn to move around accordingly. As in unpredictable I mean checking common ninja marine places, where the commander might send a lone marine to get a phasegate up.

cloaking isnt 100% invisable. If I see something thats distorted, ill shoot it. Also some people can see cloaked aliens better due to hardware.

If you're going to leap, don't leap constantly, just leap to close really vital distances(like across a room), and <b>do not leap straight at them!</b>
EDIT: this is when you are in an open room and they have already spotted you. If you're coming from behind with Silence you can leap as much as you want. Or in for example the Rec Room in co_angst, where leaping will make you curve on the walls and ....fun... ...stuff!
