Blood question

There is a greeny yellow alien blood, marines have sparks instead of blood. Be careful as this is a very contraversial topic on these boards <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>.

i dont know about the blood but wouldnt it be good if when you kill a marine a alien could put its blood into the dead marine then that marine goes onto the aleins side <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Thanks. Didn't think blood was that big of an issue. It has it or it doesn't. Who care really, doesn't add to the game play at all.

I did a search for blood and found nothing. Sorry if it brings back some bad blood. (yar, yar.)

I was just curious because of the pic and what I ahve heard. Thought maybe that stuff was his weapon or something.

I did a search through the forums for 'blood' and could not find it. I had no way of knowing it has been gone over and over.

I should have just asked "What is that greenish / yelowish, stuff I saw in a screen shot."

well usualy the marines will have lotz of armor and clothes and would make sense if you see no blood, but aliens well there has to be some gooky stuff coming out of them when your pumping them full of lead with your trusty shotgun. Blood can be an important factor in a game, take Soldeir of Fortune 2 for intances yes its tech on gore is amzing but even without the dimember ments the blood would be nice, like Counter Strike a Head shot gives you lotz of blood and a bloody spot witch adds to the atmosphere of the game and makes it look better soo blood souldn't be left out i think. o yea red blood of course for the marines and what ever color for the aliens, it dont matter there aliens...kill em all!!! <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/asrifle.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='::asrifle::'> <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tiny.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='::onos::'>

There will be no marine blood in Natural Selection. The aliens have greenish-yellow blood.

I started the topic, and this was mainly what I was asking.

"I saw a screen shot on hl.org and it showed what look to be a yellowish type of blood coming from an alien. I thought I had heard that there was no blood in the game. I don't care either way, because blood doesn't enhance the game play. I do like an indication that I am hitting something, but thats about it."

It was something along those lines. It was explained to me that alines have blood, marines have sparks. Good enough from me.

And as I have said I did a search before asking and didn't find anything and I didn't know it was upsetting to talk about.

Brutus, your opinion would never be upsetting. It's nice to hear someone who actually accepts Flayra's decision. It's just the hornet's nest this subject inevitably stirs up... personally, I'd just as soon this topic were locked. Not because of you - because of everyone else. (:
