and you can't say T2K -OR- nsa has "nearly every" model on their site...
i've been saving every half-decent model since i joined the boards (a year and some change) and i even RUN T2K, and i've got roughly 4 times the amount of models on my hard drive, compaired to the amount on the both sites combined.

i tried to be fair and mention that NEITHER site can claim the title "hosts nearly all models"
i have a bunch of models sitting on my hard drive, yes dill, some of it is yours, and is calculated into my figures below... sorry, but i'm not going to let your models die away with time.
i speak strictly for the website thrill2kill.com, and am in no way reflecting on the nsarmslab team/website.
here's some stats:
T2K size (nsmodels ONLY... currently ON the website): 201.2 MB
T2K Backlog/Storage (since the un-beta'ing of 3.0): 128 MB
T2K Backlog/Storage (PRE 2.0) : 570 MB

uhh, that's roughly 1/4 of the models/packs released in the past year are on T2K...
To the topic starter:
There aren't a lot of Comm chair replacements that I'm aware of, but NS Armslab and Thrill2Kill, the two major custom model sites, are a good place to start. Also, running a search of this forum for "comm chair" will probably turn up a few results - even if a link is dead, try PMing the creator if you're interested in his model.

About advertising. The whole ya i got 4x the models bla bla. then why arent you hosting?

Domo you can try deleting your current CC model, join a server and it'll download the old original model.

one with black/red found in the ramms+ein conversion....
and one with a funky lil flagy thing found somewhere (i am unable to find it on my hard drive, but i know it's there)
just checked... NrvsYet NS Total Conversion Pack v1.0 has a model hack... similar to the one bigbull posted, but it's the original CC, same size and all... just like, different.
i thought we where friends?
