[req] Hmg Concept

Ok, here is a lil doodle I did for a new HMG. Long, a little boxier in front, and slender in back. I was thinking of having the clip slip in like a P90 on top.

Why replace the HMG? Cause the current hmg muzzles look "sad" as in they droop down (at least to my eyes), and its ugly. Im trying for the style of the original GL from back in 1.0.

the basics of it are nice, but yeah man, it really isn't a sketch. it's more of a doodle. Concept's nice, but the depiction of it isnt

i still say, with it being so unbalanced in the weights from front to back, that handle not only would be uncomfortable, it would snap like a toothpick.

Yeah, thats a good take on it! It would reload on top, the top "notch" that is half the body would be the clip, it would reload like a p90 (one long clip sliding in and locking down). You wouldnt hold the HMG way out from your body, its meant to be tucked in, (for righties) left hand in towards hip supporting the main grip on body, the right arm elbow pointing back holding the rear. I wanted it to look heavier on one end so that it had more of a badass feel to it. Im sure the trigger grip could be modified/a section chunked out to fit the wrist/arm in more comfortably.

i still say it needs a counter-balance. WAY too much strain on the firing arm.
