Phone Booth

Quite probably the worst thing ever.
Has anyone seen the movie Phone Booth?
http://www.phoneboothmovie.com/index2.html
I saw it on TV the other day, it had about 15 minutes to go till the end. So I think to myself that looked like an awful movie, I'll just watch the last 15 minutes to see what happens.
(spoilers?)
Ok so at this part the guy, Stu, was in a phone booth, talking to a sniper on the other line, surrounded by police, 3 minutes later he was still doing this. 5 minutes later his mistress or something shows up and he confesses a bunch a crap, the cops almost kill him 5 times, and the lead detective guy stop them each time. About 8-10 minutes later Stu tries to use his cellphone to tell the police about the sniper, and the sniper tries to force Stu to use a gun hidden in the phone booth, this goes on for a couple of minutes.
Then it dawns on me this movie is 15 minutes away from being over, this has been going on for near two hours, well at this point my brain stopped working and I blacked out and didn't finish watching it. I put on this movie specifically to see the ending so I didn't have to watch all of it and I couldn't even handle the last 15 minutes, I think I can safely say this is the worst movie (even partial) I have ever seen.
(spoilers above)
I started thinking about it in the office and my brain started hurting again, I didn't put spoilers because I assumed there wasn't anything to spoil.
Has anyone else seen this movie? Do the cast confess it was a practical joke at the end? Does the phone booth turn out to be a portal to hell? Or is it just a really really bad movie?

Also you should really have told people your entire post was one big spoiler...
SPOILER
In the end, Stu tells everyone what he's done as the police take point on him. He obviously hints the police that it's not him that shot the pimp, and the police catch on and learn which building the sniper's in. They shoot Stu with a rubber bullet to knock him down after he completely looses it, runs out of the booth screaming to be shot. Right as he's shot, they break into the Sniper's Room to find the Pizza Guy from the begining dead with a slit throat. Stu's now in a ambulance, alone and given a knock out drug or something, his vision gets blurry anyway. He looks up to see the REAL sniper and hear his voice as he polishes his shoe. Since he's drugged up, you can't make out the face. The sniper walks off and no one knows the truth but Stu.
If you've seen that movie you'll know what I mean when I say it was so bad I felt like my own TV set was going to kill ME!
The ending was hilarious, the bad guy was dead somehow but they were still going to make the fatal mistake. The protagonist ends up talking to a TV station rep "Stop it, you've got to stop the broadcast!" "I'm sorry sir, I-" "Stop it!" "Sir, I-" "Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!" and that's the end.
Figured the end would be the most exciting part.
By the way thanks for posting the ending in there Liku I was kinda curious, figured it'd be something cliche like that.
But at least it made for a good soundboard
I was thinking of going to see it, but then forgot all about it tbh.
My sister. It ended badly and she ended up becoming a fanatical Christian. Never thought she should have forgiven the guy. Personally I believe that you have a bond of trust with someone that once broken can never be repaired. It's a vile and despicable act to break that trust and anyone who does that loses all my respect.
I agree.
It was well known that phone booth was set in one location. I found it a refreshing film that broke the traditional film mould. I wouldn't go see phone booth part2 though.

Me too.
Though I thought Farrel also had a good performance. Kept my attention throughout the 2ish hours which was good for a film set in pretty much one location. Enjoyable, decent directing, good performances from the two main characters.
The only disappointing thing was the ending. While i'm not going to spoil it. I found it kind of unsatisfying. But the rest of the film is more or less great, definately worth watching.
but honestly, it wasn't a waste of money, for me. i enjoyed it while i watched it.
And regards to Colin Farrell's gf forgiving cheating on her, from what limited knowledge I have of the fairer sex, if your boyfriend looks like Colin Farrell or exudes "badass cool", there's a lot they're willing to put up with. Especially if there's kids. But no value judgement from me here - no sir..
