Unless you have an absolutely fantastic field commander with a microphone you should never comm without one.
The thing I've found most discouraging as a marine comm are people saying you're spamming too many meds, yet n… -

I am completely all for this. When it was explained that the aliens operate under a hivemind it wasn't said that this hivemind sufferes severely from ADHD.

What about a bugfix that doesn't display the gorge plushie in the store?

When I Khamm as aliens I despise early start base rushes for two reasons.
1.) It isn't fun to have a match last only 2 minutes. It feels like I wasted my time watching skulks do all the work.
2.) If it doesn't work then a lot of… -
32 player server, subtract 2 for commanders on each side leaves 30. Divide by 2 for even teams leaves 15 active aliens on the map. Remember age old alien mantra, "when in doubt, gorge rush."
15 gorges bile bombing :O -

Alien Standard Operating Procedure here. Reinforced solved the issue of marine turtling with more Khammander tools to use.
Remember, when all else fails, gorge rush with 1-2 onos. 50% of the time it works all the time. -

I was going to go into detail about that in my original post but it started to get way to long and went on numerous tangents regarding team economy. It is very feasible if you have a bunch of jerks on your team who won't go gorge … -

The other day I 1v1'd a jetpack/shottie marine in crevice on Summit as a skulk. Didn't matter my KDR was so low it was almost non-existant, I felt like the best player in NS2 at that moment. Needless to say I was in the top 3 on … -
My more honest opinion is that I think the change to AV was a precurser to a change in how the lighting works for all the rooms. The three seconds a room is made completely dark from a loss of power is the only time I consider turning on AV before …

Heh, you would never want to keep repeating the same trick once it's discovered and yeah once it is you need to scramble to echo all the upgrades away before you lose them. But what will almost always happen during any game will b… -

Very well, I shall toy around with this and report back with comparison videos... Eventually. -

Right on the money in my book. Economy is your number one concern and priorety.
While my personal strategy will always vary based on how well the team is doing at containing marines my SOP to teching is as such:

My opinion, since I don't really watch matches all too often when I'd rather just play, clutch plays are far more entertaining than perfect plays. Game changing moments, while quite stressful to players, holds far more audience appeal than watching…

So let's assume I want to make a recording because I believe that there is a difference in hit registration for a skulk when holding down the mouse button vs tapping it. Let's also assume I am a "failzorz casual nub pleb" that has no knowledge of r…

Well aliens are part of a hivemind after all... It would only make sense if they had something similar and I definately agree with ways on helping to get people to do what you want. Though it seems like sometimes people deliberat… -

Was it changed in NS1 where a skulk with focus landing a back hit on a marine with no armor upgrades was an insta kill?

Allow skulks and lerks to attach to the back of an exo (usable in the same way as wall climbing/attaching respectively) and freely munch away unless the exo has support; which it should have anyway. Feel free to include a bindable radio command tha…

I think what you don't understand is that the new patch that was very recently introduced still needs to tweak bugs and features and the community is hesitant to introduce new variables that could further bog down debugging and bal… -

I agree and disagree on your statement.
I disagree on your position of mods in NS2. Combat mod has grown quite considerably and is slowly approaching the same popularity as in NS1 (when I played many, many moons ago) a… -

Keep all of the building abilities on the same weapon number, it keeps things nice and consolidated.
