Yes plasteel ingots for the rails. -
I always got the impression that filling up on lantern fruit did not last as long as eating cooked/cured fish. So I have kept Chinese Potato plants as well as Lantern Trees. Fill up on potatos, top off liquids with lantern fruit.

I have problems with the OP nor with Sidchickens post. My post was in agreement with him about the state of game forums. The state of them is indeed a constant gripe fest. Not to mention a flame fest. This forum not withstandin… -

The constant "talking" about what the devs are doing/not doing/ruining the game are folks that are playing an unfinished product. Instead of testing/bug reporting. Folks that have ideas post ideas then rage because those ideas ar… -

Thats is a large part of early access. "Playing" for the purpose of testing product finding issues, and reporting them is paramount. Posting ideas, and suggestions as well.

The real question is about practicality. Much of the OP makes sense. In a perfect world. What is practical right now from the dev point of view, and equally important the release point of view.
I personally overlook many of the "discr… -
At the juncture of the creepvine/red grass/sparse reef is a cut that runs to the grand reef. Drop down 175/200 meters and you have 3 smokers. It is not particularly flat, but one can build. There is the obligatory drop off for the moon pool. Wit…

Uh game. The point of this discussion is that the ingame mechanics do not work as expected. While.I appreciate your dissertation you may have misded the point.
So yeah it's a game. -
For me I haven't noticed any change. If you are at speed your head turns. Then the seamoth starts turning. The problem with that is that you go into a flat spin/skid until the thrust overcomes inertia then it will bite, and slow into the turn. T…

I remember my first 'moth I parked it with 35% health, and proceeded to make a new one. I had no clue that it could be repaired via the welder. It was almost the same with replacing the power cell.
Kind of funny. -
Fold out bunks. Great idea. Given the neccessity of a minimalist building approach these would be great additions.

Not only grab, but drag you back under the seafloor. -
Poking around tunnels. In a Seamoth. The little guys that explode(giving crash powder) will wreck a Seamoth.
Go figure right? Won't kill us outright in the water, but will demolish our moth. -
Have to wonder. If things change as much as anticipated if it wouldn't be more feasible to handle the first 10/20 minutes work/gather/fabricate then head to the island. Ample food, and no "water" hazards. With basic fins it is no stretch to take …

1 cross section 2 or 3 t's, and 4 corridor sections is as big as I get. Plus foundations. 4 solar panels are ample to run fabricator 1 battery charger and 1 power cell charger. I have a second base close to Aurora on a small ledge right above the…

Looking... still looking. Maybe I am too picky. That is one reason I am spending so much time now just really exploring the safe shallows. The various creepvine spots have some curious ins, and outs. Specifically over in what… -

That might do the trick thanks. -
With tech being harder to acquire I personally don't see a reason to get to the Aurora in a hurry. My other priority is the stillsuit. I don't care to overharvest the airbags. The "common" table coral doesn't break off for me so bleach and coral …

Out and left of the shoom cave opening that borders the shallows. There is a mostly clear flat ledge that borders grassy rock formations leading to creepvine. Ledge is roughly east west, so south is red grass. North the creepvine. Southwest is …

The scanner has been in the after welder fins, and water realm. As of my last new games I have limited exploration, and "large" base building. Cyclops and Seamoth as well. Never liked the 'glide. I have tried to work on, and out priorities as we…

Water. Titanium quartz, and silicone for air tank fins survival knife. With the removal of tools ingredients for batteries will drop down the list. They will be replaced with stockpiling cured fish, and manufactured water with salt being so preva…

Reinforcement panels do work in corridors. They can be mounted after you have placed stuff on the walls. But... do not mount solar panels before the reinforcements. The solar panels will disappear as you build the reinforcement … -
On second thought...
Why not a simplified version of a 'clops before the Seamoth. If you really follow logical progression you should be heading to the Aurora to shut off the radiation in as short order as you can. So there is a pressu… -
The cyclops should be a substantial achievement in game. Right now the Seamoth/Moonpool is the major achievement. At some point the Seamoth utility/motility could be, or possibly should be down graded to what it is right now. A flit about. Perha…

At various times I have built bases, and gathered in such a way that I did not denude my home area base. Of course this has meant longer "travel" times gathering, but worth it. Just grab, and go resources on the move. The "bigger" your base, or …
