The white knighting in strong here. Mentioning one thing wrong and they coming charging at you with swords drawn.
And don't forget... How dare you not like something I like! -

How riveting!
I see now that I was clearly wrong this entire time and that I should have given something I find no interested in a try to find out that I still have no interest in it!

And just like gorgeous, the player count went up during the sale/free weekend or whatever it was (who would have thunk), then tanked 15%-20% shortly after the new patch smell wore off.

To the people telling those who do not like this patch to suck it up and play more; it's akin to telling someone to keep hitting their hand with a hammer, and through the pain and broken bones they might find something enjoyable about it. Unless the…

The only people to return are the ones who are still watching NS2 closely enough, waiting for something to happen to reignite their interest in the game, such as the BT patch, or those that had their friends tell them to give it a try again. Once th…

Both sides should require two tech points to unlock their "near-end" game tech. While a 3rd tech point for either side drastically increases their power. A3/W3, and exo and jps on two tech points, while the 3rd tech point will unlock dual exo upgra…

I have serious doubts the A/W per CC is going to go live. I'll be damn surprised if it does, then you'll see a huge backlash on the forums over it. -

You do know what players did during beta when upgrades costed p.res, do ya? They never took them on skulks. Even if upgrade costs are a drop in the bucket as you say, that'll still increase the time it will take to evolve to the ne… -

Could have sworn lifeforms were the equivalent to marines purchasing weapons and vise verse. Or the fact that a 5 res welder vs a 10 res gorge both performing the function of group support were the equivalents.

Most competitive games are the exception. It's full of people who know each other and play as a team. You research shade on a pug server and then ask the team to play stealth/ambush mode, you still have half the team kamikazing by … -
Worst of the three choices.
Unless you want to troll your team and have a high chance at losing, then it's the best pick. -

Tying it to silence will help with that, since camo on an onos or fade (even lerk for that matter) is a terrible upgrade choice since you'll be heard 2-3 rooms away. -
How about this change for power nodes?
Structures no longer require a powernode to work, but without a powernode they only work at 50% capacity.
Phasegates would take twice as long to recharge. Armories would heal twice as sl… -

Good changes all around. Combining camo with silence was a long thing coming if camo didn't say 100% invis. Now perhaps we can bring back focus and make shade hive a decent all around tech again.

Probably because most (or perhaps just me) would rather wait for an additional 20 resources to evolve into a more useful lifeform. 30 resources is a bit for such a mediocre lifeform that barely performs any better than a skulk. I don't suck as a le…

ARCs should have been the stationary siege cannons like the ones marines' has in NS1.
Arcs don't really bring any skill depth or enhance gameplay. It's just a giant ball of cheese where you can spam them in the safety of your base before… -

If I wanted to play on a 6v6 server, well then I'd much rather play dota, LoL, or something else instead. 6v6 is a snooze fest on NS2.

If that's the biggest complaint against camouflage, I'll have to bet these same marine commanders would go ape-shit by the amount of "multi-tasking" that is required in SC2. And you don't e… -

Welcome back to MC > DC > SC gameplay.

Sounds more like a case of terribad marines.
You can give marines w3 and a3 at the start of the game, they'll still lose. Why? They need their hand held.
