Actually it seems like it takes debating since I don't share your view. According to Sidchicken it takes 10 fruits until your penalized, so you can still use a lantern tree to regain 45 food and 27 water. I can see myself using the… -

Actually I think that is a situation where both parties would be the aggressors. Party A started it but party Bs bahaviour would still be wrong. In my country (Germany) the puncher would lose in court if he was sued by the verbal a… -
Am I the only one who saw that discussion as something positive? At least a debate took place. Most of the times that calming that dealwithitdog is talking about is either just locking the thread or just post over and over again to wait for the devs…

Can somebody aside from Herugrim confirm that the lantern fruits give/gave you bleeding from eating too much of them? I don't play experimental but in stable I never needed to eat anything but lantern fruit and was complely fine.
-
Also, just saying, but I think the devs are either way aware that this was not possible. They were the ones who programed the lantern fruits, ya know.

Considering spoilage is a thing that is already pretty difficult. Personally I would have problems gathering all the salt needed for curing unless I went completely overkill with filtration machines and generators. -
I don't see how it really adds to the gameplay.

I am gonna point you at everdraeds post a page before. Compromise is not always the answer. -
While I could live with the crafting times, I have to agree that the waiting time doesn't add anything to the game. "Realism" is not an argument here because we're using a frikkin molecular 3D printer. To me it seems like instant crafting like befor…

The lifeforms in Subnautica seem all not too terribly different from creatures we know. Heck, many of them are straight crossings between two earth lifeforms (looking at you crabsquid). It is therefor possible they simply still use oxygen to burn su…

Take fish out of the aquarium for salting, check the water filtration machines, build a new base module, repair your seamoth, manage bettery and power cell chargers, plan your next trip, do some plain old inventory management.... -
I want to come back to the building time of seabase modules again.
I can see two possibilities to add build time:
1: We build a kind of "frame" with the habitat builder which continues to build the module without us. If you want a good e… -
He doesn't criticize that the fish looks alien he's saying that he thinks the quality of the model and texture isn't good. Very different matter.

With that way of arguing we don't really need a suggestions forum anymore, do we? "Oh you want to suggest something? Well, do it yourself. If you can't you probably shouldn't have it." -

This isn't a discussion on how to make the game better or anything. The purpose of this topic is simply discussing said astrophysics for the sake of it. In short: for the lulz.

I would still say that Insane has a point. Games as a creative work can and often do carry a political message. Maybe not always and maybe not very strongly but it's usually there. Even if those political statements just mix in wi… -

Wiki isn't written by the devs but by the community. Unless something has a good citation it isn't necessarily true. I wouldn't trust the Wiki farther than gameplay aspects and even on those it's frequently wrong. -

And is probably what he already knows. I can see your point but your reply wasn't really what this topic is about. -
A post for you: (Quote) It has passed some time since then but the post is still valid. In other posts the devs have mentioned that they will probably release a multiplayer as a seperate game or addon some time after Subnauticas release.

This really was my first association...

That is a very interesting document. I have just scanned a bit through the blueprints section and I can see that half of the suggestions the community makes were already considered by the devs a long time ago.

I'm gonna ask the obivous question: Why do we need this of all things?
-
I think it is explained somewhere in the PDA that our habitats are supposed to be usable in all kinds of environments, including space. Considering that, an airlock of some sorts would be the most logical option since it is usable in all environment…

Isn't that all literally "press button to collect"? I don't think we need more instructions for that. If I remember correctly your PDA even informs you about what those things are good. On the mushrooms I think it really says that … -

People want to check the stuff out that they build. Even if they don't have any blueprints (which they don't necessarily know) you can at least watch the drones hover around. Also, "solved" would mean the bug doesn't happen anymore… -

Since most Exosuit areas will probably be caves I am not sure how useful that would actually be.
