And it's not me crashing into something. It's a full on steel works, a sussurus of indistinct voices, the sound of hammers on metal, and of steam escaping something, gong on for a good 6 seconds.

In my experience, scrap metal does spawn, most quickly around the aurora. It does take time, but it does happen. Also, the sea treaders spawn chunks by their feet which can be broken for copper, lead, or titanium.

Energy was too way to come by, and I really think the seamoth (I'm currently still using a plain moth, no upgrades) lasts plenty long enough for outings. I carry a single spare, and I have had to set up a power cell recharge station in my base, some…

My 2 Cents:
I agree that the blood was an unnecessary change, and changing it is going to confuse new players.
I agree that the new color is a bad choice. It looks horrible, and it looks too close to the gasopod attack.

Fast travel: no
Speed increase: not necessary, it's supposed to take time to move what is essentially a mobile base.

I'm trying to understand, because you're trying to explain. Why do I need to put time into it? Why is that necessary? What does it add to the game besides boredom? How does it make things harder? -

I'm unsure how fairness enters the picture. Fairness requires a comparison to someone else and this is a single player game.

Agreed.
However.
1. I can still make my voice heard.
2. The devs can accommodate more people by eliminating the timer, because as I've said, you can still wait if you want to, even if they don't implement the time… -

Artificially lengthening the game by adding wait time doesn't add fun. -

Yes. That's a mean thing to do. But why post it here except as a character attack? These posts are hardly on topic. -

I'm one of those new accounts. I'm a lurker on many boards. I felt strongly enough about this to create an account, just to vote in this poll. I've submitted bugs and opinions in game, but this was a divisive and disruptive enough … -
Short crafting times (<20 seconds) are simply annoying, because they don't allow you to do something else in the interim. You're just sitting waiting.
Medium crafting times (20 seconds - 3 minutes) for equipment are going to push me o…
