I'll also take carapace any day. Regenration is nothing short of lazyness to flying back to hive/nearest crag station. Also, the 50 eHP you mention are often the difference between a lerk and a dead lerk. :l

If you filter servers without rookies ones, you already have less than 20 servers available. Gather the community, don't split it up.

I haven't tested NS2 FD, but WoW's FD was tons of fun and was actually hard to master. I'd definitely be happy to have it back in the game.

Being outplayed refers to a situation with both side having the same chances. So no, most concedes aren't for outplayed reasons. Most are because one side has no commander, no player or only real bad ones. I'm rarely outplayed, yet… -

I'm not sure you get the point: what you're saying is true. Except one side (Marine) is dumb easy while the other one (Alien) is down-right hard to just learn, not even master.

Silence is extremely good. I'm surprised that many people seem to think it should be a third hive option. Silenced Fade = unkillable machine. Silenced Skulk is also very strong, you can take out two Marines without much preparation for it.
