My particular case of night-blindness is actually the result of a conglomeration of congenital eye defects, including (but not limited to), myopia, astigmatism, strabismus, nystagmus and stationary nyctalopia (probably the most directly related). Thus carrots (unfortunately) will have no effect, and flashlights and laterns don't provide the necessary peripheral vision which many activities require (...such as spelunking, where reflected light also aids in cave exploration <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" /> ). Still looking into that whole 'night vision goggles' thing (somehow I doubt that'd be a big hit during any date, though).
...plus my magic resistance is too high, so none of those useful spells or potions work <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> .

This does lead me to ask, have you discovered any sort of topical relationship? Perhaps you could go check out some caves (...there are caves in the Rockies, aren't there? ...maybe not by Denver). It's also not really a winter activity. I hear you should go to some place with music, so your female counterpart can remark 20 years later that "this is that song from our first date!"...but perhaps that is to be avoided (plus you my get stuck with something like 'Rock me Amadeus' or 'Superfreak'). Have you discovered any similar interests yet?

Ahhh, that line (seems more like a block or a 1 km (0.7 miles?) wide line) had completely destroyed my relationship with my friend (with a combination of rumors, lies, mistakes etc.).
