<div class="IPBDescription">The Makers of Indigo Prophecy, for PS3/PC</div>I was going through the top 20 CES gadgets, and got to the new version of the PhysX card, and go through the trailers for the games. Most were stupid, games I'd never even try. But I saw Heavy Rain, and saw the developer name- I'd seen screenshots, and was impressed, but then saw the trailer for it.

The lip syncing is a bit off, but the early demos of Indigo Prophecy were too, and were fixed by the end.

<i>Damn.</i>

Seen it and yep pretty nice. But (judging from your post) I though it was simply possible to upgrade the card with software and that the processing power didn't need any increasing at all... you simply buy the card and are set for life (or until it dies) to have good physX

Also there are discussions going on about the actuall use of this card. I mean it might be usefull this year, but once the quadcore cpu's are on the market the whole need for this phisX card is nullified I think...

I saw this a long time ago so I imagine they would have fixed any lip-sync problems by now. Still it's some really nice animation.

Yeah, they said that about graphics cards too. I honestly doubt the availability of more CPU would nullify the use of these- I just wonder if developers will embrace them or not.

Is this supposed to look realistic? She looks horribly scared and mildly retarded.

"Have you ever taken any ACHTING lessons Mary?"

    Hahaha.

I stopped watching, I'm laughing to hard, am I missing something?

I was thinking about this thing yesterday. My thought process went something like this: "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley" target="_blank">Uncanny valley</a>."

Yeah, pretty short. Protip: that Wikipedia page actually has a Heavy Rain screencap.

    The teeth.

The teeth are wrong. So wrong. Fix that and you fix a hell of a lot.
