I have the retail version of CS and all the current patches
I also have the fusion pack 8.0 mod for CS (if that even matters)
I have a computer with 2Ghz, 640MB DDR RAM, 40GB HDD, 64MB Video, and WinXP OS
I also have a lot of frustration on trying to make this thing work right, so I can actually play.
I installed the NS mod to my CS directory, but I was getting an unspecified DLL error. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it into the HL directory. It fixed the DLL problem. I go into both HL and CS and activate the mod under the custome game menu. It switches over to the mod. However, whenever I exit HL or CS it reverts back to the default mod. So when I go on gamespy and attempt to join a NS server, it is trying to run NS in the original HL. Did all that make sense? Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem before I decide to uninstall/reinstall everything.
