Website Design Tutorials
<div class="IPBDescription">Dreamweaver, specifically</div>I've always had my own domain, but very rarely ever had much on there. Now I'd like to actually put together a site with content and a pretty layout. I do know how to do aesthetic design - I just don't know how to translate it into website html/php/whatever.
Any web designers know of good sites that can walk me through Dreamweaver? I know very basic standard HTML (imagemapping and so forth) but I don't know how to do layers or anything like that... I've never used a program to do websites before (always just Notepad) so I haven't a clue how to use this thing.

I suggest you try Fireworks for making the design (it feels like photoshop sometimes) and translate it directly to an almost clean html (1 click). The Dreamweaver part is the next step for coding details like leftmargin "0" (use the code tab) but the result of the mix is awesome, easy and fast. I don't use all the functionality but the internal tutorials are fine for basic task like these. Experiment with that is very easy.
