When I first heard of Hot Fuzz, it scared the crap out of me. Flashbacks to "Club Dread" brought feelings of, well, dread. Hot Fuzz came in with a similar situation to Club Dread, a follow up to an awesome movie but with a drastically different theme.
I was pleased to see Hot Fuzz stood up to, and in some regards surpassed Shaun of the Dead. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

I loved the film, pretty funny. I think the reason I find the Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz enjoyable is because the the plots and settings are great too.

+ Starts off with a good pack of humor, is kinda fast, gets gory then unloads in pure action.
- Ending could've been better. Movie has a LOT of noise in it, mainly background noise of all sorts of kinds.
Best thing in the movie: When Brig. Angel facekicks the women with shotgun, man while I type this I have to see that part again. edit: Just saw Haze said the exact same thing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

To be honest, and I deeply don't mean any offence here, I think anyone who has experienced rural England will 'get it' more than anyone else. It's just so believable, because you have seen odd little 'perfect' towns all over the place, and they are somehow slightly sinister.

up for a movie tonight, dearie?
It's an alright movie.
Slow from the start to the middle, but with some jokes thrown in.
All the action is only at the last 10-20 minutes of the movie.
At least I got to see it for free. I would never pay for that movie if I knew it was like that.
At least the people chanting reminded me of RE4.
Maybe I should load up RE4 and pretend i'm in Hot Fuzz and make a better movie.
