<div class="IPBDescription">John Locke from Lost</div>We all love Bob Ross (R.I.P)
I know no one can even compare with the paint-god Bob Ross.
But this guy is amazing.

In other words: DAMN NICE!!!
Must have been one hell of a .avi to shorten.
Awesome picture, I wouldn't call 3 hours "speedy" though.

If you can do faster, then go ahead <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
I would call it speedy enough to consider how nice the painting is.

Speed painting is usually below 4-5 hours.
Awesome vid/pic btw.

The "I'd like to see you do that" arguement is pretty dumb.
It's fast for the detail and it's got great detail, but I was under the impression that Speed Painting didn't have details and looked more like Impressionism. All the speed paintings I've seen were like that.
Wish I had those skills D:
Very fancy.

It makes me want to do something like this. Perhaps in the form of the creation of a model for NS2 (something interesting.. like a weapon) from concept sketch -> painting -> 3d modelling -> texturing -> in-game in super-fast mode. I think that'd make a pretty cool dev blog, at least <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />.
many of us are interested in the creative process for just about anything, especially if we can't do it our selfs.
Yah.

If I watched TV I might agree with you, but I don't, so I dono.
However, after a quick google about it, I was more talking about art then items (though I do also enjoy that, just different to me).
Watchign a glassblower at work is probably the best example of watchign people make things, as it litteraly apears before your eyes (no need for time lapse, the proces is relatively quick). I also love watchign painting (you can pull up a number of the bob ross showes on youtube/google video), photoshop, sculpting, anything.
