video mode?

well i just downloaded ns for the first time on this computer, and i have both half life 1 and 2, yet when i try to launch it for the first time it comes up with a black screen with "cannot display in this video mode".

now how do i fix this without being able to get into the game?

    well i cant really describe it better, its just a black screen with "cannot display in this video mode" on screen, it has the ns music runnin, in the backround. the problem is the game is tryin to run in 1600 by 1200 resolution, i run all other games in 1280 by 1024, an thats the highest i can go, but ns jus started in this mode!

    is ther anyway of changin that without being ingame?

    Try adding this to the launch options (right click on "Natural Selection" -> Properties -> Launch Options)
