Oh, and yah, GG is actualy a collection of graphic novels, not a webcomic. They (phil and Kaja Foglio) are just currently putting it up online, you can go out and buy them at some comic shops, or just buy them via their store (from Warehouse 23, the SJ Games store).
I saw this topic the other day. I was able to glance at the new posts. I hate being busy.
My <a href="http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/share.php?id=8641" target="_blank">ever-growing list of things I read</a> contains a bunch of goodies, some of which are on the list already here. Here are some notables off my list...

Heh, I actualy just got turned on to sore tumbs by some one else.
As you might remember, I also read Crap, however she really does not update much any more, le sigh.
Random note: I still find it very amusing that the only person to recommend Sluggy is some random fanboy with one post <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
Is it sad that most of the comics mentioned in this list I already read or am going to read now? What is even worse is that, as of this post, the folder that contains the webcomics I check on Monday contains 95 unique bookmarks; and most of them were not mentioned by anyone here. Rather than spamming the thread with approximately 150 links, I will just post a few of the ones I find greatly amusing (that have not been mentioned before). (Quick note, my descriptions are terrible.)
<a href="http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0042.html" target="_blank">Battle For Gobwin Knob</a> Some D&D humor, basically a D&D player gets sucked into a D&D universe where he must win a seemingly unwinnable battle. <a href="http://get-medieval.livejournal.com/" target="_blank">Get Medieval</a> Humanoid Aliens, on the run from a criminal organization, Land in medieval Europe: comedy ensues. <a href="http://blacktapestries.comicgen.com/" target="_blank">Black Tapestries</a> A violent comic where a thief gets cursed and the thief is on the run from nearly every form of authority. <a href="http://talesfromthevault.com/thunderstruck/" target="_blank">Thunderstruck</a> Two sisters learn that magic is real, and seek to learn the truth about their grandfather. <a href="http://www.wanderingones.com/" target="_blank">Wandering Ones</a> A post apocalyptic future where a clan, and its members, must deal with a coming war and a clandestine allied military organization. <a href="http://indavo.comicgenesis.com/" target="_blank">Indavo</a> Space explorers dealing with the problems they encounter and doing general hero stuff( it is much better than I make it sound). <a href="http://www.electric-manga.com/index.html" target="_blank">Kagerou</a> This one is really difficult to describe, in short, this comic is very strange...
There are more, but I can't bring myself to continue to go through my list, since it takes quite a while to find the exceptional ones.

We should make the list in categories like (Story/Humor/Gaming) for their different genres, rather than if the comic is dead or not. I'm in the mood to read a comic that's based around a story, but if I read through that whole list I'll have enough reading for the day.

I would point out that WT<b>F</b> updates VERY slowly, there have been 2 updates to it after it got posted to the list (I think) and no updates to the Smoke Comics.
Hmm, on the note of getting the list beter.
what sections should things be split into?
One Offs? Humor One offs? Random One Offs? Humor Stories? Serious Stories? Humor with Plot Arcs?
bugger, classifying webcomics is hard.
This is the point that a properly set up database would be nice <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
<a href="http://www.lucid-tv.com/index.html" target="_blank">Lucid TV</a> - a hilarious comic, mostly about doctors/medicine. It's sometimes a little obscure (takes a moment or two to get the joke) but usually it isn't, and it's always great. It doesn't just have one style; it's all sorts of funny. You never know what kind of joke it's going to be next.
