    I'm guessing you don't see many movies... I definitely don't think it looks any where near being the best thing I'll see in a while, and I can safely assume I've seen a few movies that are much better in the past few weeks. but I may as well see it. I haven't seen a good monster movie in a long time.

    gg Caboose reviewing a movie he hasn't seen. It's supposed to be pretty spectacular, but I can't watch horror movies. The last one I saw was The Ring, and I couldn't go in large rooms for a few weeks because then I wouldn't be able to sense if someone was behind me.

    I have seen it some weeks ago, and i liked it.
    One thing however, the creature looks different in size if you compare some scenes.
    I usually like asian movies and but this movie is not the best.
    The best asian movie is "The city of violence". Totally rocks!

    There's nothing "horror" about the film, there isn't even that much of the monster in the film either.

    It's a pretty bad movie; it couldn't wipe Jaws' *ss.

    Um... so, I just got back from seeing it. It was long, not even close to scary, and only funny in a few places.

    It wasn't bad... per say. It could have been a bit shorter, it dragged on a bit. And the special effects were not the greatest. /me thinks fire.

    It reminded me of those SciFi Channel original monster movies, except in Korean.

    I have definitely seen better movies recently.

    The Host was one of the first movies in a great many months that I went to and was surprised at what I saw. It gets a good review from me for that fact alone.

    And I think it's safe to say that anyone that compares it to the Sci-Fi original movies hasn't seen many of those. They've got their own patented brand of crap factor going on there.
