Motion Tracker Not Working Properly

<div class="IPBDescription">and it's been like that for some games..</div> I've searched the forums for someone else with this problem, but found nothing.

I'm having problems with the motion tracker upgrade. Instead of showing blips where the aliens are, I just get 2 distant stationary blips.
It started a couple of games ago, and it has been like that ever since. I ask my teammates and their motion tracker is working fine.
I really don't know what triggered this, but it is kind of weird that it is permanent. I have restarted my computer and joined different servers without positive results.

yea i get that too..the 2 stationary ones are the hives.

Man, I need help!
Reinstalling NS makes no difference.
Hard to play marines without the single most useful upgrade...

Managed to get up an observatory near alien structures, and they showed up on the hud at least.

I'm beginning to see this in games as well. Possibly an issue with the 1.01 patch. I'll let Flay and them know. Thanks for the confirmation.

While you're at it, the range of the observatory (green circle) is much less than the motion sensing range (often entire level.)

isn't the green circle just the inherent motion tracker of each observatory?

umm, sensory chambers just parastie any marines that touch em

as for the green on observatory, that is the anti cloaking field (VERY nice toy!)


also sorta depressing that it takes most commanders so bloody long to research motion traking
