Certain commands don't work ingame

Also, this isn't possible an only serverside problem, it might be something in the game too?
I've had this problem as soon as 3.2 came out, I'm sure everyone who plays co_ maps knows about /xmenu, to get extra upgrades. The problem is, it's a purely text based menu, and sometimes, my buttons don't reply.
As in aliens per example, you have to hit "1" to get into the Thickened skin menu, and then "2" to buy the skills,at least 1of my 6 buttons needed to view and buy all the skills doesn't work.
when I hit "2", nothing happens, as if my button is broken, but on a different server, my "2" button works perfectly, but my "4" doesn't, this makes it hard to play co_ to it's fullest, as I've had to play games without uranium bullets or hunger (wich are by far, the 2 best skills for rine/alien)
I doubt it's a serverside problem, since I've had it on every server, so I'm guessing it's a clientside error, any ideas or suggestions please ?

Sometimes people get votes stuck on their screens in NS and if amx is on the server, you can type amx_menu 0 in your console then exit the new menu, et voila, no more vote stuck on screen. Maybe you could try using that and then trying to access the /xmenu options again.
it's just your punishment for suporting co servers with extra levels
