IMO, the best song Disney has ever made.

I want to say that was from the little mermaid.. but I'm not sure.
e/ especially since i don't think it was even in reference to a disney movie. Just an unexplained connection.

but DAMNIT i've been humming that freaking song all day now

"Let's get down to buisness to defeat the huns! Dum dee dum de da da..."

I was singing it in the shower, that's how bad it was.

e2/ Oh and I nominate <b>"I'm still here" Sung by John Rzeznik</b> - Treasure Island soundtrack. Good stuff.

I think Muppet Treasure Island had some sort of fabulous song and dance number that was pretty catchy. That's not Disney and it might not even be a song but I liked it. If it exists. Which I think it does.

I thought the Emperor's New Groove was pretty funny. It came out after a lot of terrible Disney films.

What happened to Disney at the end of the 90's is that a lot of the good people leading the projects and at Pixar left to go to other things (not to mention they were now wealthy) kind of like what happened / is happening to Natural-Selection in a way...

I'll second the Emperor's New Groove as a decent movie adrift in a sea of rampant Disney filth...but it doesn't have any particularily memorable songs ...at least, I can't think of any offhand - like you can for the good ones (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, etc.).

For me, Disney was no longer the same since Lion King.
Before Lion King, it was mostly romance story of prince and princess. Then it was "You killed my father!" "Let's find some treasures!" or one hour+ comedy skit.

In fact, Disney movie changed from romantic story to comedy skit after Lion King I'll say.

Careful, mister. You're excluding Mulan, Toy Story, Tarzan, Toy Story 2, and Lilo & Stitch. Are you sure you want to do this?

Hey dude, I said it's no longer the same, I didn't say it sucks after Lion King.

Are you going to tell me you can't see the difference between Sleeping Beauty/101 Dalmatians and Treasure Planet/Hercules?

EDIT: By sucks, I meant completely sucks.

Lilo and Stitch was awful. The art was neat and the blue dude was cool, but there was only one funny joke in the entire movie and the rest of it was drop-dead boring.

Even if Disney bought them out, I still classify Toy Story(+2) as Pixar movies, not Disney movies. >_>
