I'm assuming it's like.... a musical organ (like a pipe organ).... only it uses colour instead of sound.

If you had looked at the user's other videos, you would see that it does indeed have a flux capacitor.

Its basically a microphone, that is connected to several light sources.
The mic can turn sound into electrical siganls (piezo effect) Those signals need to be amplified (transformers) Once your voltage is high enough you can then send those signals to your light source and tada your lamp is blinking to the rhythm.

The way I see it, if you're going to build a color organ, why not do it with style.
