    Today was a good day. January 18th was to have been my last day at work, and I was selected from a list of 50 on my shift (and 150 on all 3 shifts) to come back. I was at the top of both lists, so yeah...


    Rather confirms my feelings on the work ethic of today's youth, given the vast majority of the 150 member master list are under 21. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />

    Congrats. Cheap shot at the "young folk" though. I'm sure some of them are still finding the job they want to do/can tolerate for a long period of time. Young work forces turn over more quickly everywhere because they're young and can move/get new jobs without as much trouble as someone who's established.

    Today was a fantastic day!
    This morning I had a bunch of people over for a pancake brunch, and met one of my neighbors who is a really cool guy. It was a beautiful springish day. Warm but not hot with a lot of sunlight. After everyone left from brunch it was a great afternoon for a nap/cuddle. After that my girlfriend and I went down to the park, and played keep-away with a soccer ball. Most of which was spent with her chasing me around trying to tackle me. Then as it got dark played a game of bocce. Returned to my apartment afterwards and watched The Little Mermaid, which she'd never seen. (She's Indian, it's forgivable.) While we were watching we ate two of the ripest tastiest mangoes that I've ever had that she'd brought over for brunch. Afterwards we went to a great mediterranean cafe, and played a game of go on a board we brought along.
