Installing NS problem

I have the latest version of Steam and i just downloaded the NS.

I do not know where to install the NS directory.

I have tried: \Steam\SteamApps\bernak\ and then what do i do?

I installed it into the half life source folder, just in the steam aps folder and each time it does not get displayed in "my games"

what can i do?

If i uninstall my steam product and then reinstall it will i have to re-register my half life 2 cd key and my half life one cd keys as well. I dont know if i can find my hl1 cd key at this point.

Nope, they are permanently tied to your steam account.

As long as you do not forget your account name and/or password you are safe.

So the copy of DoD that i bought on Steam willl not be erased when i uninstall steam and will reappear whenever i reinstall steam under my previous user name and password, for sure?

Yes it will not be erased from your Steam account. It is fixed to your account.

If you delete the local files then you will need to download them again, but you will <b><u>not</u></b> lost it... unless you forgot your User name and/or Password - as Faskalia said.

Admitedly I don't know whay you are planing to uninstall steam (unless this is unrelated to your first post).
