    So only Half-Life 1 will allow it to run? Other GoldSrc games like CS: 1.6 or DoD won't work?

    not sure maybe some1 with more knowledge will reply. if u mean those cs and dod retail versions i assume they still contain the hl1 files so it may work

    You need hl1, cs anthology or whatever it is wont work. I recall you can get account via steam for like ~10$?

    You can still use CS:CZ to run NS.

    But it is a little bit more tricky.
