    This is just an extension of the Olympics' "the fittest, most able person wins" policy. The logo weeds out the weak who would not be gold medal contenders. It might be a little overzealous in weeding them out of the general populace instead of just the athletes, but you can never be too careful.

    Well Olympic games are about the 'best' and most skilled people winning against others in their chosen sporting 'career', so what's wrong with that so-called policy that you speak of?

    What I find particulary ironic is that a couple of the viewer submitted suggestions are loads better than the current official one..

    Perhaps my mind is running ...dirtier than normal, but the 02 is performing [...<i>sexual </i> expletive] on the 21, and I don't think that's appropriate <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> . I mean, what is that purple square supposed to be - other than an 'artistic' rendition of a [<i>sexual</i> expletive]?



    Also, the thread title is misleading, the logo didn't give people seizures, the flash intro or whatever on the website did. I have to say, that is a really crappy logo, though.
