i cant connect to servers

<div class="IPBDescription">i can see the servers but when i go to connect to them it keeps retring to conect to them</div>i "just" installed ns and i try to connect to the servers but it wont it says "retrying to connect to server"
all the settings are at default exept the controls i edited the movement keys
i load ns i find a server that i can connect to then when its about to load it say "retrying to connect to server"
and it keeps doing that so i cant connect to any ns server i haven't played ns since i reformatted

when i try to connect to hl servers they do the same thing as well also cs does it

Hmm OK. Because you described the situation in detail I can clearly make out the error: Your hamster ate your network card!
