anyone watching this MMO? There's apparently a pretty good ARG going on with it. I know some of you guys are into that sort of thing. check out the forum.

    I didn't look too far but there didn't seem to be much info there outside of "OH MY GOD I LOVE CTHULU! LETS MAKE AN MMO!". There's somewhere between zero and zilch info immediately obvious about the game and I didn't have much heart to go digging to find it if they didn't feel like just out and telling me something... heck anything.

    Could be good, could be bad, could end up never being released. With so few details it's hard to be positive or negative. If they actually decide to make any info available I'll take note but until now this is going on my backburners :p

    Lovecraftian MMO is kind of a bad idea. The entire mythos is kind of against it becoming mass knowledge and specifically trying to end humanity.

    If you and the other few thousand people were investigators playing in a dark, horrible world where most NPCs didn't believe a word you're saying and the few that did were tentacle monsters that wanted to kill you, it would work perfectly. You would group up with a few buddies to investigate a haunted mansion that the local townsfolk have always shunned, go through a nightmare, earn a level or maybe go insane and commit suicide, and log out, ready to play another adventure later. It doesn't have to be exactly like World of Warcraft or something.

    from the forums, it sounds like there's no evidence that the game will be based on Lovecraft, besides the cthuluesque concept art. Still, would be a sweet idea =p
